Duncans attitude is somewhat crazy considering he has a very small shop in a difficult to reach location with poor parking. I was surprised to see just how little livestock he held and can only assume he trades by selling overpriced aquatic equipment. I have more livestock in my racks at home than in Fishcove. So for this reason I am only giving one star ... I doubt the shop with be there for too much longer but possibly worth a visit whilst it is there if you are in Wimborne just to see how not to run an aquatic shop.
I stumbled across FishCove Aquatics when they were up at the Oaks Garden centre and was amazed at the quality of the products and service on offer. Now in the heart of Wimborne it's better than ever! Duncan is a fountain of knowledge and has taught me so much. A super friendly and genuine welcome is always guarenteed. There isn't a better aquatics shop around.
I recently discovered this shop thanks to my son who loves all things aquatic. The shop was amazingly clean and you can see that all the fish are well looked after. The shop may not be the biggest when you compare it to a high street brand, but it stocks everything you need and has very knowledgable and approachable staff. Thanks for the fantastic service.
I go to FishCove aquatics regularly for everything. Since the first time I walked in, looked at everything and talked to Duncan and I haven't gone anywhere else since. When you walk in the store it is so neat and tidy which is so welcoming to me. He has some beautiful example aquascapes in stunning tanks around the store. The fish compartments all have their own separate system so there is no contamination of all the tanks together like most other stores, meaning that if one section needed treatment then it wouldn't treat all the sections unnecessarily. There is a lot of stock to choose from and Duncan has tried and tested it all to make sure he only sells the best products! Duncan as a person is so knowledgeable, easy to speak to and passionate. He really cares about his products and I am now a loyal customer. 5 stars from me!
